Xiaomi launched Mi NoteBook | Thinner, lighter and cheaper than Apple MacBook
Finally the long awaited Xiaomi Notebook came to live, Mi Notebook suffered series of leaks, though the PowerPoint presentation leaks was fake, but the real pix spotted few days ago is true.
This is the first time the Chinese tech giant is going into making PC, you know what? They actually did everything well, if you want to copy anyone please copy well and improve on it, this is why Xiaomi Mi Notebook Air (known as Xiaomi MiBook Air in China) tempted me with the beautiful sleek ultra-thin design.
The Notebook will come in two variants, they are differ in everything, size, specification and price, the first one is the Mi Notebook 12.5-inch which is cheaper than the Mi Notebook 13.3-inch, both are covered with 7H hard glass.
There’s no doubt this device will compete with high-end devices in the market, the cost is very affordable for both devices. Apple MacBook is in trouble, because this device is lighter and thinner than MacBook with 12.9mm thick, though Xiaomi stole MacBook design and advanced on it.
Xiaomi Mi NoteBook Air 13.3-inch
Xiaomi Mi Notebook 13.3-inch is a 1080p anti-glare display, powered by sixth generation of Intel Core-i5 processor with a maximum clock speed of 2.7GHz, 8GB RAM, 256GB PCI-e SSD of expandable storage and what is most exciting about this model is the NVIDIA GTX 940MX 1GB GDDR5 dedicated graphics card on board.
Other features includes USB Type-C, USB 3.0, HDMI, 3.5mm headphone jack, AKG Custom dual speakers and Dolby surround sound support. The battery life is 9.5 hours on a single charge while it supports fast charge, you get up to 50% of charge in around half an hour.
The price is very reasonable considering the specification, the Mi Notebook 13.3-inch will cost $750, set to go on sale on August 2.
Xiaomi Mi NoteBook Air 12.5-inch
Xiaomi Mi Book 12.5 is powered by Intel Core M2 processor with 4GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage, the cool thing is you can expand the storage in this model. Featuring USB 3.0, 3.5mm headphone jack, USB Type-C ports, AKG custom speakers, and DU surround sound.
Xiaomi claims the battery will last 11.5 hours, the price for this device is very reasonable, it cost $525 and will go on sale on August 2.
