Umi Z announced | Best phone yet from Umi with killer features
Umi seems to be going stronger and stronger on a daily basis, the Chinese Tech company is trying to pass message to other Chinese OEMs, majority of their devices were low / mid-range in the past, now the company is serious about flagship devices, I mean flagship killer.
Umi Plus E is still undergoing some manufacturing processing and while Umi fans are waiting to lay their hands on the phone, Umi pulled the trigger yet again by announcing the Umi Z and that makes some fans get ridiculous jealous, maybe if am in their shoes, I might feel the same way too.
I already said it, 2017 is all about good specs and less price, anyway let’s not get distracted, yeah the Umi Z is gonna be the next device to join the Umi family, and the device is highly welcome as its packs loads of features you will be wanting in a smartphone except for the fact that NFC is missing.
Umi Z is housed in all metal body and it shares similar design of all Umi family, it’s a 5.5” 1080p SHARP New Generation IGZO display with 95% NTSC color gamut, consume less power and 13.3 tougher that previous generation. The smartphone is powered by Helio X27, a deca-core processor clocking at 2.6GHZ, it’s the latest processor from MediaTek and Umi Z is the first device to feature the CPU with 4GB RAM and 32GB ROM with 256 microSD card option.
As for camera department, it’s about time Umi have its own dual camera set-up too, Umi Z sports a 13MP dual camera Samsung S5K3L8 sensor, with Laser + PDAF, 4K recording and Quad-LED flash (something we’ve never seen before in smartphone camera). Selfie lover will definitely love this smartphone, a 13MP front facing camera with front flash.
Other features of the phone includes the fingerprint sensor place inside the home screen, USB Type-C, Quick Charge, 3780mAh battery which Umi claims it will last 2 days, 4G LTE, Hybrid sim, Bluetooth 4.0, Hi-Fi Audio and Umi Z will run Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box.
The price and availability is still unknown for now, we are guessing the sale might start before the end of the year or first week on January next year.
