Rumor: 2016 MacBook Pro, Ultra-thin, Touch ID & Touch keypad

2016 Apple MacBook Pro notebook series might be a big step-up for Apple in years, some think Apple MacBook Pro is lacking behind in when it comes to innovation and did not meet major hardware update according to KGI Securities analyst Guo Ming pool of well-known Apple (Ming-Chi Kuo) revealed that the tech giant plans to launch a new MacBook Pro later this year.

The MacBook Pro will be thinner with Touch ID fingerprint recognition, an OLED screen and a Touch keypad to replace the function keys above the keyboard. Also the introduction of USB-C / Thunderbolt 3 interface adapter, the new MacBook Pro will come in two sizes the 13-inch and 15-inch, it is expected to be announced in the fourth quarter of 2016.

 Guo said the new the MacBook Pro so far will be Apple’s most significant hardware upgrades, in other to achieve the ultimate thin and light design, the new MacBook Pro will adopt a new hinge metal injection moulding process, the use of the butterfly structure will be introduced new MacBook keyboard and Apple first Touch ID fingerprint recognition technology on the MacBook models.

The new MacBook Pro is expected to feature the latest Skylake Core processor architecture, high version and will use AMD’s new Polaris 400 series mobile graphics.

I will only take this as a pinch of salt because there’s no Official Statement from Apple.
