Meizu curved screen smartphone leaked and could be a successor to Meizu Pro 6
It seems Samsung will no longer be the only OEM that produce double curved screen, if this leak eventually turns out to be true, as other OEMs are starting to take interest in curved screens smartphone.
Meizu a Chinese company is working on its own ‘edge’ handset, which might launch this year. Meizu CEO Huang Zhang confirmed that they are working on a phone that have edge-2-edge display which is very similar to the Samsung Galaxy S7Edge.
An image allegedly representing the handset has been leaked in China, not sure how much this phone will cost and at the moment we don’t know what the specs are either but one would suggest it must be an high-end smartphone. The phone will either be called Meizu Pro 6 Edge or Pro 7 and the cost might be at least $450, sure it will run Meizu’s upcoming Flyme OS 6 based on Android which will have some dedicated ‘edge shortcuts’ functionality, something we have seen in Samsung’s Edge.
