LG G6 is here with FullVision
Finally, the LG G6 goes official at the MWC 2017, hopefully this will change the way consumer sees LG’s smartphone as the company is yet to proof their worth within Android eco-system.
Rumour has it that LG was planning to equip snapdragon 835 CPU in their phone but Samsung didn’t want to share the CPU with anyone for now, so LG went for Snapdragon 821, a quad-core cpu clocking at 2.35Ghz, LG did an incredible job here by adding a copper plate on top of the CPU to cool the heat.
The display is 5.7” FullVision Full-HD with an aspect ratio of 18:9 and resolution of 2,880 x 1,440 pixel density of 565ppi, all covered with Gorilla 5 glass.
There are two variant of LG G6, 4GB RAM is based memory but you have option of either 32GB or 64GB but then again this might be subject to region and yes there’s microSD expansion available for both variant.
LG G6 will sports a rear 13MP dual camera setup with (dual matrix 1/3.06”): Standard 71°, f/1.8k, Wide-angle 125°, f/2.4 while the selfie camera remains 5MP wide-angle 100°, f/2.2.
Other features includes Game Battery Saver, (The LG G6 invites you to the next level of gaming experience, fully supported by Vulkan™ and allows you not to worry about battery left thanks to the Game Battery Saver. You can also adjust each indicator such as resolution, frame and battery on individual needs.), Water and Dust resistant with IP68 rating, Dolby Vision™ & HDR10 Supported, Quad-DAC, FM radio receiver, fingerprint sensor at that back and QuickCharge 3.0 which will charge the 3,300mAh battery in 96 minutes and from 0% to 50% will take 32 minutes.
G6 will run Android 7.0 Nougat with LG Full-screen UX on
LG G6 measures 148.9 x 71.9 x 7.9mm, that makes it smaller than the Galaxy S7 edge, Price is still unknown but color options are Astro Black, Mystic White and Ice Platinum.
