With more than 300 million active users on Windows 10, yet market share of Windows Mobile is just 1%, a lot of people are wondering why anyone would manufacture a smartphone that runs Windows Mobile. The latest smartphone to join the Windows 10 Mobile league is Cube W10. there’s nothing impressive about the specifications, one thing for sure, Windows Mobile OS required less hardware to run on any device. We know the days of Nokia 520 with 8GB storage and 512 RAM, so high specification might not really means a lot in this case.

The Cube W10 is a Dual SIM 4G LTE phablet with display size of 6.98-inch 720p HD, powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 220 clocking at 1.3GHz, 2GB RAM and 16GB Storage with microSD slot for up to 128GB (Thanks to Windows 10 Mobile that supports Apps installed on microSD).

As for camera there’s no joy here at all, both rear and front facing camera is 5megapixel, obviously this one might be targeting business class user, considering the huge screen. 2859mAh battery is disappointing considering the screen size.

The phone is currently available for $299 on AliExpress website.
