Acer Z6 Variants and Iconia Talk S Tablet announced

Acer announced two smartphone and a Tablet today at IFA in Germany, the Acer Liquid Z6, Z6 Plus and the Iconia Talk S. As for the smartphone they both identical except for the specifications, as one is a mid-range smartphone while the other one is a budget phone.

Acer Z6 Plus Tecmental

The Acer Liquid Z6 Plus sports 5.5-inch Full-HD 1080p with 3GB RAM and 32GB of expandable storage, the smartphone is powered by MT6753 octa-core chip.

13.0 megapixel camera for rear while selfie sports a 5.0megapixel, for me the selling point is large battery though we’ve seen plenty of Chinese OEMs smartphone with crazy battery but 4080mAh is not bad for the Acer Liquid Z6 Plus.

While the budget Acer Liquid Z6 is just a 5-inch 720p display, with 1GB of RAM and 8GB storage, the phone is powered by an entry level MT6737 quad-core chip clocked at 1.25GHz, the rear camera is 8megapixel while the selfie camera got 2megapixel and the battery is 2000mAh.

 Acer Iconia Tecmental

The Iconia Talk S Tablet is not very impressive either, just a decent tablet, the cool thing about it, is the 4G LTE connectivity and Microsoft office pre-installed. Iconia Talk S sports a 7-inch 720p display, as the name suggest the tablet is capable of making phone calls, is powered by MT8735 quad-core chipset, 2GB of RAM, 16GB/32GB of expandable storage with dual SIM card slots (4G & 3G).

The rear camera is 13.0megapixel while the front facing camera is 2.0megpixel, for I’d rather swap the camera over, rear camera is tablet is not as useful as the front facing camera.

Anyway you get 9 hours battery life and it runs Android 6 Marshmallow OS as well as the smartphones too.

Pricing is a bitter one sided, the Liquid Z6 will cost $130, set to hit market in November and Z6 Plus will cost $277, set to hit market in December. While the Iconia Talk S will hit the market in September for $188.
