Acer Predator X21 is a rare gaming monster laptop we’ve never seen before
Acer continue to impress at IFA Germany, after they unveils two smartphones and an Iconia tablet. Acer Predator X21 is a rare thing we’ve never seen before, a Gaming Monster machine.
There’s a lot to talk about, I don’t even know where to start, is it about the first ever curved screen laptop with 2K resolution or the two GTX 1080 SLI GPU with 5 cooling fans.
The Acer Predator X21 is powered by 7th generation of Core i7 Processor Intel Kaby Lake to be precise, like I mentioned earlier the screen size is 21-inch curved ultra-wide display with a resolution of 2560 x 1080, the GPU supports NVIDIA G-Sync which enables variable refresh rates that stay in sync with the GPU. 4.2-channel audio system, full size backlit keyboard with cherry MX mechanical switch.
Other features includes Gigabit Ethernet port, Wi-Fi ac, two USB Type-A ports, one USB-C port, and two DisplayPort ports along with one HDMI out and the numeric keypad flips over to function as a touchpad, this is crazy.
You remember Tobii Eye-Tracking? Well it let you control your computer with you eye only, yes that’s true, you can control the mouse point with your eye movement. Acer incorporated Tobii’s eye-tracking technology into the display of the notebook, which allows you to change camera angles, increase or decrease brightness and obviously it supports windows hello.
Acer will start taking pre-order for the Predator X21 later this year, No word on pricing but it will be available next year.
