Sony Xperia XA Ultra with 16MP Selfie Camera + LED flash & Borderless screen
Borderless Screen will be the next thing we gonna be seeing in smartphone, the first device to feature this borderless / bezel-less screen is called Ulefone Future due which is due for sale in June 2016.
Sony just announced a 6″ Full HD curved display that uses Mobile BRAVIA® engine 2 and Super Vivid mode, 1080 x 1920 pixels with 367 ppi, The Sony Xperia XA Ultra is also fairly thin at 7.6 millimeters, if you’re a fan of huge display that is also easy to pocket, you might wanna consider buying this phone.
The XA Ultra is powered by a MediaTek Helio P10 (MT6755) octa-core processor 2.0 GHz Cortex-A53, Mali-T860MP2, 3GB RAM, 16GB internal Storage and microSD, up to 200 GB, the battery is a little bit disappointing, most 6-inch smartphone usually have at least 3,500mAh battery but Sony only manage to bake 2,700mAh battery in the device but Sony claims the battery will last two days which I find very difficult to believe, because with such a huge screen that battery can barely last a day.
Now let’s talk about the Camera department, Xperia XA rear camera is a 21MP Sony Exmor R with 1/2.4″ sensor size, geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection, HDR, panorama and autofocus, but the front facing camera / Selfie camera is first of its kind, 16megapixel front facing camera? Are you kidding me? This is the rear camera of the Galaxy S6, the selling point for the Xperia XA is obviously the front facing camera no doubt about it. A 16 MP with 1/2.6″ sensor size, autofocus, optical image stabilization, 1080p and spots front facing LED flash.
As at present Price and availability are yet to be confirmed as the device will be offered in black, white, and lime.
